Brave Nchanga Rangers held Nkana Football Club to a frustrating 1-1 draw in the FAZ Super League Week 21 match played at Nkana Stadium on Sunday in Wusakile.
Nkana could have been a goal up in 5th minute when striker Ronald Kampamba failed to beat Nchanga goalkeeper Sebastian Mwange after he was set up with pass from Harrison Chisala.
Midfielder John Sikaumbwe could have broke the deadlock in 16th minute but his shot went inches off target.
Nkana had another chance through Harrison Chisala in 28th minute when he powered his way through Nchanga defense only to hit the side netting.
Nkana were awarded penalty in 59th minute when substitute Bornwell Mwape was fouled inside 18 yard area.
Left back defender Diego Apanane gave Nkana the lead in 60th minute from the spot kick.
Nzuma Benson restored parity 7 minutes later to send Nchanga Rangers supporters in wild jubilation.
Rangers looked a better side in the second stanza and created couple of chances.
Kalampa remain stuck on 6th position with 32 points while Rangers is 15th on 19 points.
