Amity Shamende brace shine light on George Kapembwa

Amity scored a brace to help George Kapembwa's side record victory

Amity Shamende brace against Lumwana Radiants led National Assembly to victory and represented as the win for George Kapembwa since taking charge.

A week twenty four 2-1 away win for National Assembly football club brought light to the struggling George’s side. At Lumwana Grounds the host Radiants failed to maintain lead and at final whistle the match was decided in favor of the visitors.

Kelvin Kapambu put the host in the lead as early as 7th minute but 15 minutes later Amity Shamende restored parity. And in the additional time before the break a second goal came through and Assembly was in the lead.

George first game in charge at Assembly opened with horror when Power Dynamos smashed Assembly 4-0 while the next game was a draw with Chambeshi’s side before falling 2-0 at George Lwandamina coached side.

The second half was uneventful though the goal scorer was sent off in the 90th minute. National Assembly now stand at 21 points after 24 games.
