Beston Chambeshi names Zambian squad for Korea prelude

Fazfootball reported coach Beston Chambeshi has named the squad that will travel to Korea. Zambia has been invited for a tournament prelude to the FIFA World Cup U-20 Korea 2017. 

The four participating teams are the hosts themselves South Korea, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Zambia.

However, Chambeshi will miss a few foreign players Conlyde Luchanga (Hapoel Ra’anana, Patson Daka (FC Liefering), Mumba Mwape (Getafe) and Fashion Sakala (Spartak Moscow) who have gone back to their bases.

The four have been replaced with Stephen Chulu (Kabwe Warriors), Happy Nsofwa (Mufulira Police), Musonda Siame (Kafue Celtic) and Joseph Phiri (Red Arrows).

“The U20 Africa Cup of Nations champions will open the FIFA World Cup tournament with a match against two-time champions Portugal on May 21 before facing Iran three days later.

The concluding fixture will be against Costa Rica on May 27.” Reported Fazfootball.
