Nkana Football Club defender Boston Muchindu is among the final 21 players. Coach Beston Chambeshi announced the finalist of the Zambia Under-20 for this year’s Junior World Cup in South Korea.
Muchindu was recently elevated from Young Nkana Academy after scoring eight goals during the 2016 season. Defender Moses Nyondo and midfielder Harrison Chisala both from Nkana have also made the cut.
The team has since travelled to Spain for an intensive training camp. Zambia have been placed in Group C where they will face Portugal, Iran and Costa Rica.
The Junior Chipolopolo are scheduled to play the first match on May 21 at the Jeju World Cup Stadium against Portugal.
