A Baba Basile early strike and a 50th-minute trademark finish from Moses Phiri was enough to save Chris Kaunda’s skin when ZANACO posted a 2-1 win over highly-rated Napsa Stars.
But the ZANACO coach had CHISAMBA LUNGU all to thank.
Part of this Story Is:
CHISAMBA has been out of the ZANACO squad since the kick-start of the season and he came in to prove he is the piece ZANACO has been missing in their inconsistency puzzle.
Napsa Stars was all on top of things with Jacob Ngulube pulling strings and commanding total dominance of the midfield till the twickle feeted midfield ace was introduced.
- Trivia: Zanaco vs Napsa Stars – Jacob Ngulube won man of the match
He stepped up with his trade mark bossy runs as he started making in-roads and exposing cracks in a compact Napsa midfield with some audacious moves from his rich treasure chest and his treasure chest and that treasure chest dazzled sunset.
He had some touches of chaos which were hard to deal with by the over worked Napsa midfield and that changed the complexion of the game.
His display was a cock and bull story about what every body needs to know about him: He still has lots of football in his legs.
As Napsa kept struggling to weather the storm, CHISAMBA quickly began to conjure moves that were bullying Napsa Stars into submission. Quick , sleaky and poetic, he was a constant manace and a problem that Ngazi of Comoros never gave Napsa and Napsa had no solution in their tool box.
His expression on the ball was dark and twisted but he was definitely hot and demanding the best from a NAPSA on song.
He was simply applying the basics of football in black and white. His holding, passing and his movements were simple , yet difficult to deal with. Just sublime
Napsa Stars had levelled in the 41st minute through Jacob Ngulube who walked with the man of the match prize but it was ZANACO who had the biggest laugh as Chris Kaunda and his boys walked aways with three points in their bag.
