According to sources at Napsa Stars Facebook post ‘Injury update’ Chitiya Mususu is likely to rest for two weeks to nurse an injury.
Striker Chitiya Mususu is currently nursing an injury (hamstring strain) picked up during the 2017 Barclays Cup final match played against Zanaco FC last Saturday.
Just early on during the final Chitiya was brought down. Running into the seventh minute he was out replaced with Mangani.
The team medical duo of Musonda Kateule(doctor) and Nimrod Musungwa (physiotherapist) says Chitiya is likely to be out for two weeks.
Midfielder Chitoshi Mukuma also picked up what the doctor termed as a Quadricep Muscle Contusion, but is likely to be available for this weekend’s match.
And Collins Sikombe is also still nursing his ankle sprain picked up during the league match played against Green Eagles FC, with the team medical team saying the player may only be available after a week of rest.
Meanwhile the MTN FAZ super league enters into week 33 with Zanaco (60 points) leading at the helm and Zesco with a point behind.
