Chris Kaunda is haunted as Napsa Stars plan a blackout at Sunset against Zanaco.
There were screams of Ayende (Fire him!) from the Sensation fans in the Sunset stands the last time ZANACO played at home.
And after some ugly adventures away from his jury, Zanaco coach Chris Kaunda will be back this afternoon for another hearing as his charges face uncompromising Fathi’s Napsa Stars.
It will be another pot of Zambia’s most delicious football delicacies cooking this afternoon as the league delves into some appetizing midweek fixtures.
Emmanuel MAYUKA and his Napsa Stars will be hosted by ZANACO at sunset stadium in a Lusaka derby promising war, terror, and screams of horror from the spirits in the stands.
Coach Chris Kaunda will need to prove his stay at ZANACO but he faces a NAPSA Stars that has raised eye brows of interest across the country after their back to back exploits in Africa and they will have a litmus test of their mantle, backbone, and pedigree when they face a free-scoring ZANACO side that can’t be trusted.
All eyes however will be on 2012 AFCON gold medalist Emmanuel MAYUKA who against all odds swang back to stardom having scored in both legs of Napsa Stars champions league adventures against Ngazi of Comoros.
MAYUKA looked strong, motivated, and razor-sharp throughout the ninety minutes over the weekend and he might hurt ZANACO if left unchecked.
With ZANACO coming from a one nil defeat at the unforgiving hands of Buildcon, they will need to win against an absolutely impossible opponent or calls for the head of their coach will get even the more louder.
Power Dynamos vs Lumwana Radiants
In another midweek fixture in Kitwe, Power Dynamos will host rejuvenated and highly charged Lumwana Radiants.
Radiants are coming from a shock win against Buildcon and they face a Power Dynamoes that struggled to beat Indeni. It will be a match both teams will have to fight for everything.
And in the tickets of this battle, Radiants will have to rely on red hot Felix Nyaende while Power Dynamoes will need to reorganize and find inspiration from somewhere away from Alex Ng’onga who will be out serving a suspension.
The gravity of pressure will however weigh heavily on Radiants coach Kaindu who will be taking over a team that won without a coach on the touchline last week.
Green Buffaloes Face Buildcon
In Lusaka, Bilton Musonda’s days at Green Buffaloes look faint as his inconsistent Buffaloes charge against a highly rated Buildcon.
Buildcon are on high after beating ZANACO last week and they will take the game to Green Buffaloes in their quest for momentum.
Green Buffaloes on the other end will step forward wounded after an embarrassing one-nil Slip to Young Green Eagles last week.
With Manfred Chabinga at Nkana and Patrick Phiri at Lumwana all gone, the angel of death is stalking on Chris Kaunda at Zanaco and Bilton Musonda at Buffaloes.
