MTN FAZ Super Division giants Power Dynamos and the 12 times champs Nkana on Saturday renew their old rivalry when they lock horns in the ‘Kitwe Derby’ at Arthur Davies Stadium as the elite league enters Week 23.

This is the most eagerly anticipated derby that brings Kitwe Town to a standstill whenever Zambia’s two famous clubs clash heads.

Chisokone market and town center is already rife with football words for each side as is the hive of the most fans for the duo

Power are coming from a 1-0 defeat at the hands of stubborn Kitwe United on the same day Kalampa laboured to force a 2-2 draw with visiting National Assembly in Wusakile last Tuesday .

The Kelvin Kaindu coached Power find themselves 6th on the table with 37 points, one behind Coach Beston Chambeshi’s Kalampa on 38 points after 22 matches played.

A win for ‘Aba Yellow’ will see them go 4th on the table while victory for ‘ Aba Red ‘ will push them to 3rd position should Kabwe Warriors lose to Nchanga Rangers in Chingola .

Earlier this year, the Ndeke Boys outclassed the Wusakile Boys 2-1 in Wusakile thanks to Reagan Nkuy and Kelvin Mubanga controversial goal. Kelvin Mubanga had scored with the help of “the hand of God” but referee had no chance to see the quick move.
