Nkana vs Napsa Stars

Walter featured against Napsa Stars in week 22. Napsa lost 1 nill after Ronald Kampamba scored in 54th minute

Recap

FT: NKANA 1-0 NAPSA STARS

Walter Bwalya was understandably a bit rusty but with more game time, he will of course be well-oiled. His presence in the team changed its balance and revamped its dynamism. He provided that attacking pressure which Saté loves to feed on.

Saté Saté showed more than mere blue streaks of a trademark landlord phenomenon we have always associate with him. He has pace and is wildly shrewd. He hovers in defenders’ blind sides pounces with predatorial instincts.

Given Sinyangwe is finding a partner in John Mwangeni. Between the two I would mandate Given to be the sweeper. I was particularly impressed with Given’s overlap which almost turned into a goal assist.

John Sikaumbwe proved his knack for scoring goals with his stint at Konkola Blades. There are moments he had showed off how high-strung he is at Chilata, however, what a defence splitting pass it was to Saté which was timely and well read. It was 1-0.

The fullbacks are quite influential in modern football and more so with the zonal gimmick now an in thing. Diego and Aaron were satisfactorily basic in defence.

Yannick Mulenda is slowly developing confidence but still jittery in manning that crucial defensive midfield role. Jacob Ngulube does not give him enough cover.

I have noticed something about coach Beston, he goes for the direct root and bothers himself less with intricate methods. Our team will continue scoring lowly because we don’t take the game to the wide areas.
