Trident vs Luapula Green Eagles

Fresh from bashing their arc-rival Lumwana Radiants in Kalumbila derby, the flamboyant Faz/Eden University National League log leaders Trident FC [TFC] will play host the new league entrance Luapula Green Eagles [LGEFC] at Kalumbila’s Sentinel Grounds at 15:00, on Saturday, 30th October, 2021.

The Kalumbila based outfit have gone six matches unbeaten and are hoping to continue with this excellent marathon run. “The Conqueror Boys” Trident have won five times, drawn twice and lost just one since the exception of the league.

The North Western based TFC sits at the apex of the league with 17 points while the opponents LGEFC have 10 points a difference of 7 points.

The gaffer, Steven “Barnes” Mwansa will be aiming to collect maximum points and his hot hitman Angolan striker Pedro Miguel will be instrumental in achieving this milestone. Pedro has taken the league by storm and is the current top scorer in Zambian’s second League.

Meanwhile, the long travelling soldiers, Luapula Green Eagles are coming from a win and will fight to keep their winning ways last long. LGEFC have lost four times, won three and drawn once in eight games played so far.

The boys from Luapula are determined to stay long at Eden University sponsored National League unlike their arc-rival Kashikishi Warriors who failed to keep their place at the University.
