
According to a media statement released today FAZ has banned Mr. Kabila and Mr. Kapwepwe from football related activities. The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has handed a six-week ban on Nkana Football Club Chairman Evaristo Kabila and Secretary Mutale Kapwepwe from all football related activities regulated by the Association.
The FAZ disciplinary hearing chaired by Joseph Jalasi, found the two guilty of putting the image of the Association and the game into disrepute through media attacks contrary to the FAZ disciplinary code 7.10.
FAZ has further fined the two an amount of K2,500 respectively to be paid within seven days. The accused are at liberty to appeal to the FAZ Appeals Committee within 14 days of the ruling.
