Defending league Champions Zanaco host Nkana football club this Saturday 19th May at Heroes National stadium. This will be the 13h00 Lunch-time kick-off of the MTN FAZ Super League Week Seven.
Nkana registered their first home win on Sunday against City of Lusaka. The lone goal came courtesy of striker Walter Bwalya from a far off Diego Apanane cross.
The two sides last played each other this year during the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield. The semi-final was featured at Arthur Davies Stadium in which Nkana emerged victorious via 3-0.

Meanwhile, former Zanaco FC midfielder Salulani Phiri has described Saturday’s game between host Zanaco and Nkana as fifty-fifty encounter.
Phiri, now with Polokwane City of South Africa has settled well and has already scored a goal in the Nedbank Cup against All Stars.
“It’s going to be a tough game knowing where Nkana is on the log. I think it’s a team that would want to carry every point coming their way and get into contention as quick as possible.
” Zanaco also is lethal at this time because they would want to play their games without pressure knowing they are in the champions League, ” Phiri said.
” It’s going to be fifty-fifty but the team that will put more effort will carry the day, ” he said.
