Kabwe Warriors recorded their first win of the MTN FAZ super league 2017 after beating the Rangers 3-0. Since the season begun the Warriors have not won any game.
Kabwe Warriors now stand on the 15th position after 11 matches from which they have recorded 8 draws with 2 loses. Today’s win comes as the first for the season and saw a whooping of Nchanga Rangers at Railway Stadium.
A header by Jacob Phiri opened the floor for the host and before half time Warriors was leading by two goals. Into second half Lameck Kafwaya made it a brace and concluded the injury that saw the visitors sent packing goalless.
Midweek fixtures
Other midweek fixture saw Zesco United get three points to move second position of the table. Real Nakonde lost after the lone goal from Idriss Mbombo.
Nkwazi drew against Green Eagles in Choma while Red Arrows showed a 2-0 supremacy at home against the newcomers Buildcon.
