Kitwe: In an action-packed Week 12 of the ZPL National Division One, Kitwe United, City of Lusaka, Nchanga Rangers, and Chambish emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle of the ZPL National Division week 12.
Kitwe United asserted dominance with a convincing 2-0 win over Zesco Malaiti Rangers. Phregon Kaunda and Joe Simbuwa were the goal-scorers, highlighting Kitwe United’s attacking prowess.
Also, City of Lusaka secured victory. The match, which took place at an electric venue in Kabwe, saw Smart Banda’s decisive goal in the 16th minute, securing a crucial 1-0 win for City of Lusaka.
In another exciting fixture, National Assembly clashed with Kafue Eagles, with Patrick Chipeta sealing the deal from the penalty spot in the 70th minute, resulting in a 1-0 victory for National Assembly.
Chambishi claimed a narrow victory over Young Green Buffaloes, with Nexalla Mvula’s early goal in the 4th minute proving to be the difference maker in the match, ending 1-0 in favor of Chambishi.
Nchanga Rangers displayed their prowess against Indeni FC, securing a 1-0 victory with Angel Lubamba finding the back of the net in the 45th minute.
