Argentina and Barcelona superstar forward Lionel Messi, 29, calls it enough and retires from international football after missing a decisive penalty for the Argentine. Messi quits international football after he was reportedly in tears after missing in a penalty shootout as Chile won the Copa America final.
After Argentina goalkeeper Sergio Romero made a save from the first shootout by Arturo Vidal, Messi stepped up to take his country’s first shot. He kicked the ball, and sailed it clearly over the crossbar.
