MTN/FAZ SUPER LEAGUE DIARY
RESCHEDULED WEEK 29 MATCH
Zanaco v City of Lusaka
Venue: Sunset Stadium
Kickoff: 15:00 hours
The missed game caused stir from City of Lusaka club who turned up at Sunset stadium on Sunday 1st October but without the host present. City claimed the Football Association did not communicate to them about the postponement of the week 29.
City went further ahead to claim compensation for expenses in camping and a further three points from FAZ because the institution failed to obligate to the rules by failing to communicate within the specified 48hrs.
Nonetheless “Yamoto”, City of Lusaka and relegated bound, seat at the bottom of the table with 12 points having played 28 games. They are 8 points less from Real Nakonde. The 2017 super league season has been daunting for the community club recording 20 loses, 2 wins and 6 draws.
This Wednesday encounter with Zanaco statistically will cause further mayhem before City move on to face further woes with Zesco United in another week 26 rescheduled match.
