
Lone goal from super league top scorer Chrispin Mugalu punishes Nkana during the week 30 of the super league fixture. Nkana tended further into inconsistency on Sunday when they were beaten by elite Lusaka Dynamos 1-0 at Nkana Stadium.
Both teams started well in the first half creating some decent chances but it was the visiting team who broke deadlock through in-form premier division striker Chris Mugalu. Clatous Chama intercepted a cross from Diego Apanene then passed it on to Mugalu who struck from a close range to give Dynamos lead on 19th minute.
In the second stanza, Nkana came out strong but failed to penetrate through Dynamos defence.
This was Mugalu’s 17th goal of the season.
Elite Dynamos completed a double over the Wusakile side after waylaying them in both ties via a 2-1 and 1-0 score line respectively.
Dynamos move in to second position on the log with 53 points after playing 30 matches while Nkana remain 5th on 49 points from 30 matches.
At Nkoloma Stadium, Lumwana tore apart City 4-1 to move 7th on the FAZ table.
Josephat Kasusu scored a brace while Eddie Sinyangwe and Obed Masumbuko scored a goal apiece.
Sunday’s win pushes Radiants to 48 points.
In Chingola, Power Dynamos debutant Micheal Banda canceled out Zikiru Adams penalty in 82nd minute to force a 1-1 with Nchanga Rangers.
Sunday’s draw leaves Nchanga on 17th position on 27 points. Power Dynamos occupy 3rd slot on 51 points.
Green Buffaloes tops the FAZ Super League table on 56 points from 30 matches played after edging out relegation bound Real Nakonde 2-0.
