MUZA and Trident have made a splash in the 2023 Absa Cup by securing their places in the semi-finals. This is the first time that both Trident FC and FC MUZA have made it to the Absa Cup semi-finals.

On the first day of the semi-finals, Forest Rangers will face off against Power Dynamos, who beat Mufulira Wanderers to secure their place in the semis. Forest Rangers, on the other hand, hunted down Green Buffaloes to progress to the next round.
