Zambia super league and kopala giants yesterday signed midfielder Chisamba Lungu from Buildcon football club.
Nkana who are Zambia caf envoys are on a mission to strengthen their squad in readiness of the continental interclub competition which kick starts in November 2018.
This is the second signing Nkana have made after they brought in Duncan Otieno from Kenya.
But what does Chisamba bring to the Nkana side.
As much as Nkana sign Chisamba Lungu his senior career speaks for itself. Having played more than 240 games, he has managed to score less than 15 goals for both club and national team.
Chisamba plays an attacking role, most as either in attack or as a winger. He is also capable playing in any offensive role and the ability of his pace and dribbling makes him a versatile attacker which Nkana may find useful to utilise.
Chisamba’s experience and the exemplary traits of his pace and technical ability will add value in the nkana squad as the team’s balance may be attained.
But how much will he help the Red devils? It’s a question that will only be answered if coach Chambeshi grants him the debut. Nkana plays Young Buffaloes this weekend in the Barclays Cup final.
