Opinion: Zesco United And Nkana Abandoned Game Hearing

Football Association of Zambia has slated Saturday 25th August 2018 as date of hearing for the abandoned game involving Zesco and Nkana. Hearing will commence at 07:30hrs at Football House.

Zesco United and Nkana had their week 24 match abandoned in additional time on Friday evening. A section of fans threw objects on to the field of play following a penalty given to the visitors at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Here is an opinion from someone on social media on the judgement to be rendered

(1) Nkana awarded with 3th AugustĀ  points

(2) Marcel Kalonda fined & handed a 5 match ban for unsportsmanlike behavior which put the security & lives of people at stake

(3) ZESCO UTD to play 3 games without fans for their failure to put in place adequate security measures in that game

(4) Nkana fined for the unruly behavior of their fans
