Match day two of the Zambian super league saw Power Dynamos step down Napsa Stars. Napsa Stars relished three to zero victory in the opening match day one against Nchanga Rangers. While Power Dynamos were held to 3 – 3 against their fellow Dynamos in Lusaka.
The pensioners had much-anticipation as they travelled to Arthur Davies Copperbelt in match day two. A young team showed form and points of grace silencing the host in the first half.
Notable in the Napsa stars squad was Rabson Muchelenganga who defended well his keep. Supported by Solomon Sakala and Boyd Mkandawire the back was held right through into half-time.
Enoch Mwepu making his first appearance for 2017 pushed through to the front with several efforts from Luka Chamanga. However Napsa Stars was to regret the missed chances. Fwayo Tembo had one or two chances but urged his team to play on.
Just 5 minutes to fully regulated time the ball came around in the box and Kelvin Kampamba was quick to pass on to Jimmy Ndhlovu. This time Jimmy was on target as the ball easily bumped into Rabson having been obstructed.
Power Dynamos have collected their first maximum 3 points from this win. Meanwhile in the other fixture for the day long travelled Real Nakonde held on just at the last minute.
A goal from Green Mumba put Forest Rangers ahead with few minutes to the clock but Danny Silavwe frustrated the host netting in just before the final whistle
But newly comers Buildcon held Kabwe Warriors to a goalless match. This records a second draw for the Ndola outfit after failing to cut the knife through Real in the first match.
