Power, Zesco seek redemption, Buffaloes eye 4th straight win

Power Dynamos and Zesco United will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when the two host Red Arrows and Lumwana Radiants at Arthur Davies and Levy Mwanawasa Stadium respectively as the MTN-FAZ Super League enters Week 7 this Weekend.

Meanwhile, the game involving the big guys in the ZM super division Nkana and Zanaco has been postponed to a later date .


Dynamos and United heads into Saturday and Sunday match with contrasting fortunes .


United were humbled at home 2-1 by Forest Rangers in the mid-week fixture at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium while Power lost 2-1 to Zesco last Saturday at the same venue.

Both teams are 2nd and 3rd on the table with 13 points and separated only by goal difference .

At National Heroes Stadium, League leaders Green Buffaloes face 11th placed Lusaka Dynamos who have only managed to record 2 wins from 6 matches played.

Buffaloes have 16 points while Dynamos have 7 points after playing 6 matches.

A win on Sunday will see the soldiers go 7 games unbeaten and cement their top slot regardless of the outcome of the result from their closest opponents.
