RAJA Casablanca of Morocco thumped Zambia’s Sensational Zanaco 3-0 and eliminated them from the 2018 Total CAF Confederations Cup on Wednesday night.
The North African side completed the double over the Zambia outfit and advanced to the group stage on a 5-0 aggregate having beaten Zanaco 2-0 in Lusaka on April 7.
Mahmoud Benhalib, Mouhssine Lajours and Badr Benoun scored in 15th, 18th and 78th respectively to book a place in the group stage.
The Bankers dropped into Confederations Cup after they were eliminated from the Caf Champions League at pre-group stage by Mbabane Swallows of Swaziland when they lost 2-1 in Zambia and 1-0 in Swaziland respectively .
Zanaco will now shift focus on the MTN-FAZ Super League .
