Recovering from the football activities is the MTN FAZ Weekend In Pictures  from the past weekend. Presented  in photos are the slides featuring the disappointing Zanaco against the far travelling Stade Gabesien at Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka. Zanaco was playing and drew 1:1 in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup 1/8 finals against the Tunisians

At the same venue, Independence stadium, a triumphant pitch invasion by Lusaka Tigers fans after equalising from a Walter Bwalya’s own goal in the additional time. Austin Muwowo had put Nkana in the lead just before the half hour mark.

 

In Kabwe the Warriors triumph came fore for the unprepared Mufulira Wanderers playing in the muddy Railway stadium as the drench had kept on for most part of the day. Jacob Phiri with a brace and Josephat Kasusu made the day for Kabwe Warriors while Taonga made the lone goal contribution in the 3:1 muddy saga.
