Red Arrows clash with Beston Chambeshi men

Festus Mbewe in action against Zesco united

Red Arrows visit the Copperbelt on Saturday to lock horns with 7th placed Nkana FC in the FAZ Super League Week 16 fixture at Nkana Stadium in Wusakile.

Arrows visit revived Beston Chambeshi’s men who have maintained scoreboard in their last two games overcoming Buildcon and Forest Rangers.

Kalampa will be hoping to replicate the winning formula exhibited in the previous two games to keep their hopes of playing in 2017 Barclays Cup alive.

Coach Bestone Chambeshi demanded consistency from his charges which seems to be working.

It took new signing and former Real Nakonde midfielder Dan Silavwe’s 20th minute strike against Forest Rangers to hand Chambeshi his second straight victory since he took over as Nkana Coach.

Having played 15 games, 8th placed Arrows have won 4 games, drawn 9, lost twice, conceded 14 and scoring 18 goals and have 21 points.

Nkana have kept 5 clean sheets from 15 games played.

The Wusakile boys have conceded 17 goals, scored 20 times, lost 5 games, won 6 and drawn 4 games.

Last season, Arrows came from a goal down to force a 1 all draw at Nkana Stadium after striker Walter Bwalya had put Nkana in front before Francis Simwanza equalised for the visitors.

Arrows have silenced Kalampa 4 times from the past 8 meetings.

Nkana last beat Arrows on June 22, 2014 in Lusaka via 0-3 score-line.

Head to Head between Nkana and Red Arrows since 2013.
