Nkana football club midfielder Simon Bwalya has clearly stated that he is not leaving the 12 times Zambian super league champions amid speculations linking him with a move back to arch rivals Power Dynamos.
Recently, social media has been flooded with numerous rumors of Simon wanting to trek to Power Dynamos.
“Good evening my beloved Nkana family. I just want you to know that I still have a running contract with the team, meaning am still a Nkana player. I have never signed anything with power”,
Bwalya posted on his Facebook page.
The Kitwe giants have also acquired the services of Central defender Aaron Katebe and defensive midfielder Sam Chilupe on 12 months and 24 months contracts respectively. Nkana Football Club, Chief Executive officer, Kenny Mwansa confirmed that the dual have signed their respective contracts effective January 2017.
Nkana are beefing-up the current squad before commencement of the 2017 MTN FAZ super league which is likely to start in early March. The 2016 season was disappointing as the second position slipped out to Zesco United in the final stages of the season.
