Zambia Under-20 preparations taking more shape as they raced against South Africa at Nkoloma stadium ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Aghmat Ceres scored own goal for South Africa in 65th minute beating his goalkeeper under pressure from Zambia’s Edward Chilufya in 2-1 away defeat at the hands of clinical Zambia Under-20 in an international friendly match played on Sunday at Nkoloma Stadium.
Zambia is preparing to both host the under-20 and as well participate. The tournament is shooting from 26th February into March. Zambia has been place in Group A competing with teams as Egypt, Mali and Guinea.
Enock Mwepu fired up Zambia in 27th minute from a close range header. Jordan Liam scored the consolation goal for the visitors from a spot kick in 72nd minute.
Zambia dominated possession but failed to utilise chances.
Moses Nyondo of Nkana youth limped off in the first five minutes and was later replaced by Bernard Chali.
Coach Beston Chambeshi said he was impressed with the outcome of the result.

Zambia U-20 are preparing for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations slated for February 26 to be hosted by Zambia.
