With a first-half hat-trick and a fourth goal in the dying minutes of the game, Mapepa’s total now stands at an impressive 21 goals in just 23 games – one goal ahead of her closest competitor, Red Arrows Women Football Club’s Ochumba Oseke Lubanji, who has scored 20 goals to date.

Interestingly according to FAZ’s official record-keeping “Arrows with 61 points and a point behind leaders Green Buffaloes, are nine points ahead of Elite Ladies who have 52 points with two games in hand.”
