Wedson Names the final squad to face Algeria

According to fazfootball.com Coach Wedson Nyirenda has named his final 24 member squad for back to back Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup against Algeria on Saturday and Tuesday.

Nyirenda has kept faith in all the foreign based players summoned and only sent home

  1. Webster Mulenga  of Red Arrows.
  2. Boston Muchindu and Moses Nyondo both from Nkana
  3. Clatous Chama and Fwayo Tembo both of Lusaka Dynamos
  4. Billy Mutale and Martin Phiri with Godfrey Ngwenya all 3 from Power Dynamos.

 

Notable on the selection is Brian Mwila,  Justin Shonga and Alex N’gonga to don the front as strikers. And the mid notable contribution is Enock Mwepu and Augustine Mulenga now making regular contribution.

 

Meanwhile Algeria arrived in the country on Thursday night without their star striker Riyad Mahrez who had left the team camp in an attempt to force a final day move from 2015/16 English league champions Leicester City.
