Zanaco took lead and return to the second position of the super league. This was during the rescheduled week 6 that took place Wednesday 17th May at Nchanga stadium.
Zanaco beat Nchanga Rangers at their backyard with 2 to 0 line and moved to 13 points just 1 shot of Lumwana Radiants. In an eventful first half their was little to comment for a scoreline. But an altercation had seen Mwila Numamba sent off just before half time.
Second half underway saw Zanaco record two goals. Thanks to Adamson Mulao who stepped up and scored the two goals that made the difference. Towards the conclusion Saith Sakala missed a penalty but the Bankers had booked early and cashed out 3 points.
Zanaco moved to the second position while Nchanga Rangers dropped off into the relegation. Nakambala Leopards and Mufulira Wanderers are feeding the bottom zone.
