Zed Super League Giant; The killing diaries in the Zambia Super League will gain more bloody episodes this weekend with the new killer on the block Mutondo Stars stepping into the ring of fire in an epic battle against the elegant dynamites in Mazabuka.

Mutondo tigers won hearts after a ruthless show against Nkana when the new boys condemned the thirteen-time champion to their second defeat of the season in a roll.

Mutondo was magnanimous and ruthless on the ball taking Nkana to the cleaners with their Bavarian triangles, swift movement of the ball, and close control while they maintained a steadfast back line that kept Nkana at bay all day long and when there was an opening, Dalitso Lungu riffled home from close range for their first three points and a perfect start to the season.

Zed Saileti Mutondo will be keen to build on their exploits this weekend but standing in their way is FC MUZA.

The elegant Dynamites are sailing past heavy tides with ease and in their last six matches both in Africa and domestically, they are yet to be beaten.

Andrew Phiri scored a 60th-minute spot kick on Wednesday to restore parity and force a 1-1 stales mate against ZANACO and a straight win in their next fixture is now a must if they are to keep the promise of another errand in Africa next season but they face a stubborn killer bee in Mutondo.

With the country’s most exciting teams coming head-on this weekend in another is the Green and Red affair, the world can order champagne, pop the corn, and have lunch served early as one of the most fierce battles of the season unfolds.

While Muza will rely on the killer claws of Andrew Phiri whose ability in front of goal keeps gaining sauce and chilly, Mutondo stars will still invest confidence and killer power in young Osmond Chita. The teenager’s wizardry and intelligence brilliance in the right flank will be a menace MUZA must be weary of.

Elsewhere, Mufulira Wanderers will be at Ucar 107 Stadium to take on Kabwe Warriors while Green Eagles will welcome Nkana in Choma, Nkwazi will entertain Zesco United at Edwin Imboela, and Forest Rangers and Red Arrows will square off in Ndola.

In other fixtures, Trident will be at home to face ZANACO, and NAPSA stars will look for their first win of the season when they host Kansashi Dynamoes.
