Zega stun kabwe warriors to go top of the league

Zeddy men beat Zesco 3-0

Zesco United moved to the summit of the FAZ Super League after beating Kabwe Warriors 1-0 in the rescheduled 30 match on Wednesday 1st November at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Straight from scoring a brace against City of Lusaka on Sunday, Lazarous Kambole scored his 3rd goal within 4 days on 34th minute to propel his side to the top the FAZ table.

The win pushes united to 62 points, two above second placed Zanaco on 60 points from 32 matches played.

Green Buffaloes remain on 3rd position with 57 points while Nkana completes the top 4 on 55 points after playing 32 matches.

Zesco travel to Lusaka on Sunday to face Nkwazi in a 13h00 lunch-time kick off at Heroes National Stadium.

Warriors will welcome second placed Zanaco at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium on Saturday.
