Zesco takes shape off Smouha as Zanaco claims a point from Egypt at Al Ahly. Team Yaziko took a better shape off the visiting Smouha sporting club in the first leg of the Total Caf Confederation cup at Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.

 

Zesco pushed its luck but aerial balls proceeding one after the other could not shape into a point. Efforts from Idriss Mbombo went wide as John Chingandu dared to see the goal outline.

And Final whistle at Borg el arab stadium, Alexandria rescued Zanaco to come back with a point. In a dominated Al Ahly sporting club performance and ball possession Zanaco played a tactical dominance and held the dangerous Al Ahly.

They managed to sniff a point after holding the Egyptian giant and oldest African club to a goalless draw. Zanaco was placed in group D with Al Ahly, Coton Sport and Al Hilal.
