After an uneventful 19 minutes Anthony Akumu Gay was cautioned and received a yellow card but three minutes later Jesse Jackson Were put Zesco United in front. The goal Jesse Jackson Were scored yesterday was his 50th goal for ZESCO in all competitions and in 3 seasons. Were joins Winston Kalengo, Jackson Mwanza, Benny Mwanza among those that banged 50+ goals for ZESCO since inception.

For Dynamos it was better second half but disjointed play cost them. Mugalu was isolated. Marvin Jere and Luchanga both had glorious chances and wasted them. The Jesse lead counted at the final whistle.
